Story behind the painting (Part 19) - Chrysanthemum,1974.

This mixed-media painting done in 1974 was inspired from a poem I wrote that year.  The poem was entitled, A Lovers' Walk.  The opening lines of the poem reads:

 As we walked along the field of flowers,

 bright, light and yellow flowers

 we felt the wind that washed our soul

 purified our entwined hearts

 and left us alone

.......

The painting is an impressionistic rendition of the 'field of flowers', which in my imagination was covered with Chrysanthemum flowers where the lovers walked through.
